Situated on a secluded beachfront setting with the Pacific Ocean right at your door step, there are many things to see and do at the Qualicum Breeze House in Bowser, BC (near Parksville & Qualicum).<\/p>

The Central Vancouver Island region, is known as “Vancouver Island’s Jewel”. Throughout the year the area boasts the warmest temperatures and greatest number of sunny days. Superb scenery beckons from every viewpoint. The ocean vistas take in snow-capped mountains on the mainland as well as offshore Islands blanketed with forests. \u00a0Situated on a secluded beachfront setting with the Salish Sea (Strait of Georgia) right at your door step, you can enjoy kayaking, beachcombing, bonfires, clam digging, oyster picking, and salmon fishing or rent a boat and tour the islands. From April to October, anglers from around the world fish from shore for four species of salmon. The giant tide pool is great for the children to enjoy a hands-on experience discovering the numerous marine species on Vancouver Island.<\/p>

Whether you want to enjoy a relaxing vacation surrounded by nature, or an activity-filled holiday complete with golf, fishing, kayaking, shopping, outdoor adventure and local events, you will not be disappointed by the selection and opportunities.<\/p>

The local village of Bowser, BC is just a 1\/2 km walk where you will find a grocery store, liquor store, gas station, credit union, gift store, gym, library, tennis courts, laundromat, restaurants, pub, legion, beauty salon, aesthetician, and massage therapist. You will be walking distance to hiking trails and an ice cream stand. The local marina is just a 5 minute drive north in Deep Bay, for all your kayaking, charter and boating needs. What to do at the Qualicum Breeze House<\/h2>

We want your stay at Qualicum Breeze House to be the holiday of a lifetime. Our beautiful property affords vacationers ample things to do. Spend a day wandering the beach, go kayaking or canoeing for the afternoon or watch wildlife from the comfort of your home away from home. Stormwatch from our protected rooftop patio with a fire, or check out the mountains from the solarium using our telescope. There are board games and air hockey to play on rainy days, and badminton or bocce in the grassy yard on sunny ones.<\/p>

Enjoy strolling the beach, watching the ocean and finding shells and rocks. \u00a0The beaches on eastern Vancouver Island, particularly in Bowser, Qualicum and Parksville, are renowned for their variety, scenery and wildlife viewing.<\/p>

West Coast\u00a0Fishing<\/h3>

Experience world class fishing right from the front door of your vacation suite, or cottage . From early September to mid October, anglers from around the world descend upon our shores for the pink and Northern Coho salmon runs.\u00a0For the anglers you can fish from shore or charter a boat from our local marina.\u00a0Chest waders or belly boats are all that is necessary for a fantastic day of fishing on Vancouver Island.<\/p>

Giant Tide Pools<\/h3>

Young and old vacationers alike can enjoy the experience of a gigantic tide pool that hosts numerous species of marine life. A 21 lb salmon was caught by one lucky holiday guest by using only a net and bucket. Kids love to chase the bull heads, crabs, and the occasional octopus has been spotted in the pool.
