Skiing at Mt Washington is only 30 minutes away and there are sixteen golf courses within an hours drive from our\u00a0vacation rental. Day trips in Parksville BC and day trips in Qualicum Beach BC offer you many options of what to do when you are staying at the luxury vacation rental.<\/p>\n

Day Trips on Vancouver Island take you to the following destinations and beyond:<\/p>\n

Tofino and Ucluelet, BC – 2.5 hours west of Qualicum Breeze Resort<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Tofino and Ucluelet are located on the West Coast of Vancouver Island and are home to Long Beach and the West Coast Trail. Enjoy the ocean, forests, hiking, storm watching and whale migration.<\/p>\n

Nanaimo, BC – 45 minutes south of Qualicum Breeze Resort<\/strong>
\nNanaimo is where the BC ferry links to Vancouver and it is also the home of the International Bathtub Race. There is great shopping and golf in this coastal BC city.<\/p>\n

Victoria, BC – 2 hours south of\u00a0Qualicum Breeze Resort
\n<\/strong>The beautiful city of Victoria is where the ferry links to Vancouver, Gulf Islands, and Port Angeles. The “Flower Capital of Canada”, shoppers delight with the varying specialty shops. With a reverence for the past, Victoria boasts \u00a0many fine museums and art galleries.<\/p>\n

Comox and Courtenay, BC – 30 minutes north of <\/strong>Qualicum Breeze Resort
\nThe Comox Valley is renowned for its beauty and boasts that you can swim, ski and golf all in one day. View the glacier from beautiful Mt. Parksville and Qualicum, BC – 25 minutes and 10 minutes\u00a0respectively

Horne Lake, BC – 30 minutes west of Qualicum Breeze Resort
\n<\/strong>Horne Lake Park presents a wide variety of activities both above and below ground. There are hiking trails, cave spelunking, and horseback riding.<\/p>\n

Campbell River, BC – 1 hour north of Qualicum Breeze Resort
\n<\/strong>Campbell River is historically known as the “Salmon Capital of the World”. You will also enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking, whale watching, Grizzly Bear tours and of course fishing.<\/p>\n

Coombs, BC – 20 minutes west of Qualicum Breeze Resort
\n<\/strong>The Coombs market is well known for the family of goats which graze on its grass roof. Visit Butterfly World or the exotic birds at Emerald Forest. Nearby is the old growth forest of Cathedral Grove. Picnic at Qualicum Falls or Englishman River Falls.<\/p>\n

MacMillan Park – Cathedral Grove – 40 minutes west of Qualicum Breeze Resort
