Hewlett Packard, October 1988-October 1996 Federal Computer Operation -Technical Servers Program Manager. Systems management and project leader for installation of special UNIX workstations, compute-cluster and shared parallel processor systems. Led cross-functional technical and marketing team focused on special Federal – aerospace and OEM corporate accounts. Served as member of high-performance committee of the Systems Performance Consortium (SPEC). Systems Performance Team Leader for capacity assessment for Federal Programs. Performed (PM) Program Management responsibility in eight major projects. Project management experience in these IT deployments: Fast Hand, Tiger Paw, TAC IV, Army HPWS and JANIS. IT industry project experiences in Burris, CIMPOINT, Execucom, Sperry and Electronic Data Systems. (1978-1988) Served in infantry, air cavalry and special combined operations (U.S. Army) (1969-1978)

Current professional certifications in IT project management, client/server applications design and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and Certified Information Systems Professional (CISSP). Participated in Windows NT 3.5, NT 3.51, NT 4, and Windows 2000 assessment of systems performance. Served as Technical Team leader for AIM benchmarking for Windows NT 4. Executive sponsor and lead for Office 2000 Rapid Deployment Program. Acted as Executive Sponsor and Program Champion for Windows 2000 RDP/JDP. Served as executive sponsor for Business School notebook – common operating environment, Beta Testing Program Lead for range of MS products (NDA). Qualified as Microsoft Certified Professional in Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF). Hold Gartner TCO Analyst certification. Program Manager for X.509 Digital Certificate Repository and SmartCard pilot deployment.
