As a Community Group Care home, we have enhanced clinical oversight from a qualified clinician. Clinical oversight refers to the supervision and guidance provided by qualified clinical professionals to ensure the provision of appropriate and effective therapeutic interventions, caregiving, and support within the Community Group Care setting. The clinical oversight aims to promote the well-being, safety, and positive development of the children by integrating therapeutic principles and evidence-based practices into the day-to-day milieu of the Community Group Care home. Clinical oversight activities could include, training and capacity building of trauma-informed caregivers, assessments, therapeutic care plans, coaching and mentorship, supervision, training and support in emotional regulation and coping skills, quality assurance, crisis intervention and cultural competence.
